How to Import a PDF (Pro & Agency)

In this tutorial you will learn how to import a PDF and format the text in the editor.

1. Create a New Project

Start by clicking on the 'Create a New Project' button. This will open the same pop up that is used for any project, however, this time click on the 'Import PDF' button.

To import your PDF either navigate to the file on your computer or copy and paste the PDF link. Give your ebook a title and add your footer text. Then click 'Next'.

Choose a template for your project by clicking on the thumbnail.

Give your project a name and click 'Create'.

Your project will then load in the editor. You will initially see that your text is not properly aligned. Do not panic! To align the text select the page by clicking on the 'Select Page' icon in the upper right corner. This will activate the page container.

Once you have selected the page the toolbar will open. Click on the pencil icon. This will open the text toolbar.

Click on the justify icon. If you like your text justified then you can stop here.

To left, right, or center align you first need to activate the paragraph container. This is done by clicking on the paragraph. Again, a tool bar will open. Now click on the pencil icon and align it by using the respective icon (left, right or center). In the example below, we have left aligned the first paragraph of text.

Designrr does not import the images included in the PDF directly to the editor. The images are directly imported to the Media Manager and need to be added manually to the project.
